Sedan Suzuki Ciaz rumored to be marketed in Indonesia next year in the form of completely built-up (CBU) from India. Ciaz, who become rivals Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic, launched in India in October 2014 and noted the high demand.
Ciaz also managed to change the image of Suzuki, or Maruti Suzuki in India, formerly known as product hatchback or sedan entry level, this manifests itself as a manufacturer of premium vehicles. According to reports Otonity, Indonesian market will only get petrol engine variants for Ciaz.
For transmission will be offered either a 5-speed manual gearbox and four-speed automatic gearbox as well. Currently Ciaz manufactured by Maruti Suzuki in their factories in India and exported to several countries.
For the Indonesian market, Ciaz in CBU form from India. Maruti Suzuki will also start exporting Ciaz to the Middle East and Africa in mid-2015. So far there has been no official statement either from Maruti Suzuki and of PT Indomobil Sukses Internasional related Otonity report.
