Kawasaki Racing Team has made an announcement regarding their participation in World Superbike racing, for the 2014 season their focus to get into the Evo class. It is the hope of them in order to collect important data that can help the team to develop their machines in the future. Therefore, David Salom is now asked to become the latest member of the squad this season. In addition to David Salom, the name of Tony Sykes and Loris Baz also a retainer in the Kawasaki Racing Team's squad.
As scheduled, the third retainer will do the testing at the Jerez circuit which will be held on 5,6,17 and 18 February. In the Evo class, the regulations in effect includes the chassis, brakes and suspension (with adjustable rates), in spite of this, for the rules engine will still follow the rules that exist in the Superstock class.
