Kawasaki Ninja 250R Indonesia Safe from Recall

Kawasaki motorcycle manufacturer in the United States should withdraw sport bike Kawasaki Ninja 250R because of damage to the ABS modulator that uses Nissin products. Is Indonesia Kawasaki Ninja 250 will also be subject to recall?

Yusuke Shimada, Assistant General Manager of Marketing Division of PT Kawasaki Motor Indonesia (KMI), stated Kawasaki Ninja 250R is marketed in Indonesia is safe or free from recall.

"For in Indonesia is safe and there is absolutely no problem, because it is different from those in America," said Shimada.

Shimada explains, for some there is clearly a difference with components manufactured in the United States. "Components are having problems it is certainly different. Ninja 250R which is also manufactured in the United States while in Indonesia are produced in Japan," he said.

ABS Modulator Nissin experiencing the possibility of production problems and could fail to function optimally that could endanger the rider.
