Nissan Motor Company is planning to introduce a new development which is a result of view behind the glass smart at the Geneva Motor Show 2014. Glass is designed with the view of bringing together smart LCD screen and glass so no one if Nissan claims that the results of this development is the first in the world.
Unlike the viewing glass cabin in general, this Nissan's glass can see objects behind the car with the help of high-resolution cameras mounted rear of the car. Besides can see objects behind the car, with a glass of view allows the driver checking blind spots and other traffic conditions. Equipped with a control that is just below the surface of the glass so that the driver can switch to the LCD screen or glass conventional view.
The Japanese automaker claims the smart glass is able to provide a broader view and a clearer perspective when compared to standard glass. High-quality rear camera produces images that are clear and able to minimize glare from sunlight or lamps behind the vehicle.
Nissan plans to implement smart glass in the rear view Zeod RC are scheduled to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and in other Nismo racing car. Nissan plans to introduce the first smart viewing glass in the Japanese market this year and then to the global market by 2015.
