2014 Ford SYNC 2 Now More Sophisticated

To coincide with the Mobile World Congress 2014 event is now taking place in Barcelona, Spain, Ford Motor Company demonstrated their new system the SYNC 2 for the first time in Europe. This innovative technology has been supported by the 8-inch touch screen that has a high resolution. SYNC 2 is present in the New Focus, shown at Mobile World Congress makes it easier to control in-car entertainment systems, climate control, satellite navigation and connected mobile devices using voice commands.

Simply press the voice command button and say "I'm hungry" will bring up a list of local restaurants. If you are not too hungry, you can use the Michelin Guide to choosing a restaurant. 2 SYNC will connect you by phone to the restaurant to reserve a table and then guide you there. Not only that, if you feel the cabin is too hot, you can simply say "Max AC", then the air conditioning temperature will rise automatically.

If you synchronize with the MP3 music player, you just simply what song would you listen to, and the music will automatically play the music of your choice. SYNC 2 will be premiering in New Focus in Europe and also in New Mondeo will be introduced later in 2014, as well as in New Mustang at its launch in 2015. 

"We have developed SYNC 2 to make it simple and intuitive to use riders," said Pim van der Jagt, executive technical leader, Ford Research and Advanced Engineering. "The rider can adjust in-car system more than ever before, while allowing the rider to stay attentive eyes of the road and hands remain at the helm."
