There is an interesting question and answer session after the media by Mr. Osama Masuko, Chairman & CEO of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, Tuesday (16/9). Photo session with the big boss of Mitsubishi is done in the outdoor area headquarters of PT. KTB with background MPV car, the Mitsubishi Delica.

Yup, Mitsubishi Delica will return to the stage of the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) in 2014 after 4 years ago this car appeared at the same event that IIMS 2010 MPV is expected to be a tight competition like other premium MPV class Nav1 Toyota, Nissan Serena, Mazda Biante, or Honda Odyssey.

Forerunner to the Delica D: 5 is the seventh generation began on October 30, 2006 It was Mitsubishi Motors announced that the next generation of minivans monobox be called Delica D: 5, based on the Concept D-5 prototype first exhibited at the Tokyo Motor Show to 2005 -39.

It is a vehicle with eight or seven seats (BX team observations yesterday, the second row captain seat models so only 2 + 2 + 3), which has a four-wheel drive system and a continuously variable transmission AWD INVECS-III, combined with inline four engine 4B12 2.4 L MIVEC. Latest Delica system is also equipped with a typical Mitsubishi RISE safety body. In Japan alone already available version with a 2.0-liter engine.

In January 2013, Mitsubishi has released the Delica D: 5 diesel engine. This model comes with a diesel engine capacity of 2.2 L 4-cylinder turbo new (4N14) which is capable of producing 148 PS and 360 Nm of torque. Mitsubishi claims that the new diesel engine is powerful 4N14 at low rpm with smooth acceleration up to high rotation though. With low pressure and temperature in the cylinder, the engine is able to achieve a low compression ratio of 14.9. Mitsubishi Delica D: 5 diesel engine has a fuel consumption of 13.6 km / L.

In fact the concept of the Mitsubishi Delica D-5 is not pure Crossover MPV MPV, the merger between MPV with SUV concept. Interesting to wait for what's new and different is given for this model of Mitsubishi in the homeland. Check out a full review when the car's official launch tomorrow at IIMS 2014.
